It was a successful week, despite losing my house keys, a sick child that had me averaging 4 hours of sleep a night, and performance reviews due at work.
Here's a typical lunch for me. Salad with feta, strawberries, almonds and field greens topped with homemade Greek dressing. I also packed yogurt and homemade granola.
Here's an atypical lunch I enjoyed when I was working from home one day -- nachos made with leftover taco meat, and topped with salsa and the last bit of sour cream. Yum.
Beer bread was a nice (and quick) addition to our daily meals.
On Saturday I made a big turkey, and I'll spend the day today making the leftovers into freezer meals. I already have three big containers full of turkey stock made. I think I'm going to try a few recipes from Jessica's book, Not Your Mother's Make-Ahead and Freeze Cookbook (NYM Series).
We've had a rainy and gray week, so I couldn't resist picking up these lovelies at Trader Joe's. These plus some dairy and veg left me with a $32 grocery bill for the week. Can't complain about that!
I also picked up our crop share, which had some great Florida peppers, corn and strawberries. We're eating like kings around here this week.

Updated to add: I eventually found my keys in a container of chicken bullion. That's life with a 2 year old!

Really? In the boullion? That's hysterical! (I don't think I would have ever thought to look there).

I know! It took me a full week to find them! Now I know better and keep them out of reach.
